The main scale and the vernier are satin chromed.
The beam and the vernier are entirely heat-treated,and all the measuring faces are specially hardened.
There are two scales on both upper and lower surfaces of the beam,it could be used in two directions. In one direction,it is used as a normal depth gauge,and in another direction.
