Description
Introduction:
Knocking the shock plate and a shock wave to underground, P&S wave travel downward follow the borehole wall .When the geophones collect the P&S wave, it will also transform the initial arriving time of P&S wave and shock waveform to electronic signal, which is recorded by recording system. The deviation of P &S wave initial arriving time of two points is calculated to know the ground’s wave velocity between two points.

Workshop Test:
1. Put the cable into the borehole at a average speed. Please pay attention to whether there are any delay and where the diameter change to smaller, then record the place.
2. Start working , click “Trigger”, knock the plate by big hammer, check the wave form collected; Check whether any problems, then up the cable 1m, when the cable is stable, continue next test. If there are lose ground, enhance work speed to avoid plugging caused by small diameter.
3. When test work is over, please store the data.
